Cornerstone Counseling is recognized as a CE Approval Organization by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners (LABSWE). We offer a clear, supportive pathway for presenters, trainers and organizations seeking approval & visibility for continuing education programs for social workers in Louisiana.
Our CE approval process is designed to help you meet LABSWE standards with ease while elevating your program’s visibility and professionalism.
How to Apply for CE Approval
We make the process simple, transparent, and fully aligned with LABSWE requirements.

Access our CE Approval Application directly from this page.
Your $75 application fee includes:
✔️ Secure payment processing
✔️ Full application review
✔️ CE submission on your behalf
✔️ Mandatory record keeping for three (3) years
✔️ Option to include one (1) marketing broadcast within the Cornerstone professional network (additional cost)
Your program is highlighted as an approved CE Program endorsed by Cornerstone Counseling
An administrative fee is required for each CE event and due upon application. This fee is for the review of the application and does not guarantee approval. The fees are as follows:
FEE SCHEDULE
$75 for a single day workshop being presented once. Reviewed within 4-weeks post submission.
$100 for a conference (conference is defined as being offered over continuous days)
$50 Expedited Review Fee – Add-on for applications submitted less than 4-weeks prior to the scheduled event and/or would like their CEU to be reviewed within 7- business days.
$25 Additional fee for any changes to workshop, including but not limited to date, location, time, presenter, topic, etc. added within 1 year of the date of the original approved CE event.
$25 Professional Network Broadcast: Optional add-on for one (1) marketing broadcast within the Cornerstone Counseling professional network to expand reach and visibility. This includes one (1) email broadcast to our mailing list highlighting your event and linking directly to you.
What to Submit With Your Application
To complete your CE Approval request, please download, complete, and email the signed application along with the following materials:
- Requested presentation date(s)
- Professional CV or résumé and professional bio
- Agenda and learning objectives meeting LABSWE guidelines
- Program evaluation & template of your certificate of completion
- Marketing materials (optional)
- Professional headshot for promotional use (optional)
- The application must include engagement and participation from at least one additional Social Worker
