We, as humans, are very sensory beings (see, touch, hear, smell, and taste).  Our emotions and experiences are stored within the nervous system and can become trapped or stuck if not properly processed or released. These trapped emotions or energies can sometimes be triggered by reminders of those past feelings during a difficult time or experience- and at times, without even knowing why on a conscious level!  Cornerstone Counseling and Wellness offers a powerhouse of natural, holistic care for personal growth and enlightenment along with a team of other private practitioners serving your physical and emotional wellness needs. As a Certified Reiki Practitioner, I feel Reiki is an exceptional and powerful compliment to traditional psychotherapy and tools to further your journey to emotional release, authenticity, empowerment, and self discovery.

What is Reiki? 

Reiki assists in bringing the body to a state of relaxation, which allows the body to heal itself by gently clearing old energy patterns and blockages that disrupt the flow of our “life force energies” while restoring balance to the body, mind and spirit.

I offer 30 & 60 minute Reiki sessions as well as 90 minute Integrated Reiki therapy sessions providing therapeutic processing of your Reiki experience to expand upon what may arise and deepen consciousness.  Some people may experience strong emotions which is normal, natural part of releasing trapped energy. Others may experience a burst of energy or sense of deep relaxation. The beauty of Reiki Healing is that the energy knows where to go and what to do to serve your highest good. 

It is worthy to note that Reiki specific sessions are not covered by Insurance and you do not have to be a current therapy client to experience or schedule a Reiki session. Please email noelandrus@att.net (with subject line: Reiki) for further questions or schedule an appointment.
